The people that came together with ideas that brought about this website.

Lori Weber: she is always there at the track ready to help all of us at every event. Lori is one of the forum moderators as well as a member of the think tank. Thanks for all you do!

Lori Weber

Lori's Bio: I've been married to Jerry Weber for 13 years and we have a dog named Bindi.
I've been the Booster Club lady and team captain for about 13 years. I helped with the booster club before that. I'm also the DRAW rep. DRAW helps injured racers so anytime you hear of someone getting hurt at the track, please let me know so I can tell DRAW and we can help them. In some cases we help with money and sometimes it's just cards and letters.
The Booster Club raises money to pay entry fees for our 56 team members at the Team Finals race in September. We use any remaining money to buy door prizes at the awards banquet. I do a 50/50 raffle at every points race and most of the big races plus we have the Golf Cart Drags on the Friday of the Divisional race and a silent auction and raffle the next day. Whenever we have a Second Chance race, the booster club gets a share of the pot and the racers get the rest.
I also have a day job.

Dan Bullis: Pictured Below, has inspired us with his ideas about a location where racers can get together to help each other out.

Dan's bio: I have been the track announcer for PIR for 4 years now. I won the sport compact championship for PIR last year and finished runner-up for Sport compact in Woodburn. I also won an autox championship last year for the Willamette Motor club in STX (car class).

I have been around racing since I started racing karts back in 87. This year, I am planning on running for 3 different autox championships as well as two more Sport compact championships. I would like to thank my sponsors, TM Tuning, Evolution Motorsports, AR Auto service, Hazel Dell Muffler, and Double J Motowerks.

I asked Dan what he was hoping to accomplish with the website and forum:

"What I would like this website to be is a place where racers can turn and find help from other racers. It doesn't matter what you race, where you race it, or how often you race there, we are all part of a family and in these hard times, we need to be here for each other. I hope this website becomes a tool that can help all of us reach the finish line in these hard times. Whether it is finding a job, finding a good person to join your team, or just a place that can give the support to keep fighting to find that next step, it would just be nice to know your not alone and that there are members of our "family" looking out for one another."

Kathy Corey: I have a passion for racing & helping the great people, friends and racers that we have met over the years. Donating web space and a forum.

Kathy & Todd pictured below with Black Max at Woodburn Dragstrip.

We have been racing for many years, at various places. Woodburn Dragstrip is now our home track again, after moving back up here from Texas. Todd & I have been together over 13 years now and have gone thru a lot. Our story can be found on my other website. Our passion for racing is what has kept us going, sometimes I think its what keeps us alive. Knowing how much it means to us and the friends we have, we are glad to do what we can to get people connected.

This year we may not make it to the track as much as we would like, and I know there are many of you with the same situation. I have a full time position but Todd is still looking and it's a tough market out there. But Last year was one I will never forget.

Above is Ol Orange, she is my baby, have had this one for over 25 years, and we took her to the finals at Firebird. Where I went out first round by .007 "Ouch!" Below is Black Max  a 'Cuda with an attitude, which Todd has been playing with trying to get a full pass down the track. We have had an array of small problems  that have set us back on that goal.

I also take pictures and video anytime I'm not in the driver seat, as well as Todd. We have a gallery linked to the cudaracing site.

My hope is that this site will continue to grow with people sharing resources, coming together to help each other, and in the process create a strong community. There is much to do, rest assured I will do whatever I can, whenever possible.
